Earl Todd Obituary

Earl Ray Todd has departed this life for the next to be with his Lord and Savior for all eternity. He passed peacefully at his home in Yukon, surrounded by his children in the early morning hours on the 21st of May 2020.

Earl was born in Oklahoma City on December 26, 1939, and lived 80 wonderful years, mostly in Oklahoma. He was a simple man and chose to live his life in such a manner. Earl was a quiet mystery and was a lover of the unique. He had a kind and gentle spirit. He was and will always be remembered as a man of honor, a man of his word, and as an intelligent, thoughtful, self-reliant, God-fearing, unimposing father and friend. His battle with ALS was short. Rejoice in knowing him if you did.

Earl was an auto mechanic who could help someone fix their car over the phone, walking them through the process bolt by bolt. He was a man willing to let his children find their own truth in their own time. Earl enjoyed his Braum’s breakfast and cheered for Sooner football.

His best friend and closest companion on this earth was Charline. She was his angel on this earth. A deeper caring and love for one another cannot be found. Such kindred spirits, they are sure to meet again.

Earl Ray Todd is preceded in death by his father Marvin Henry Todd, mother Alma Lee Todd (McCoy), and sisters Jean Dutton and Margaret Todd. Earl is survived by his 3 children, Kevin Todd, Barbara Brooks and Sharon Bruder; brother William Todd; sister Dana Oyervides Cook; sister-in-law Vicky Todd; son-in-law Marc Brooks; daughter-in-law Angela Todd; and five wonderful grandchildren.

Earl's viewing will be held on Wednesday, May 27, 2020, from 10:00 AM - 2:00 PM at Ingram, Smith and Turner Mortuary in Yukon, OK.
