Dwight James Gore

Dwight James Gore passed away on January 4, 2023, in Oklahoma City, OK at the age of 71. Dwight was born to parents Fred Gore and Virginia Dowdy on December 5, 1951, in Flint, MI. He grew up in Flint, MI and loved to play the bass guitar in his garage band. He was married to his high school sweetheart, Rhea Gunter, for 17 years. A few years after they divorced, he met and married Donna Sylvester. They were married for 19 years.

Throughout Dwight's life, he enjoyed being around family and friends and having a good time. Dwight was an officer in the U.S. Air Force, retiring after 20 years of service. Dwight will be missed by all who knew him and loved him dearly.

Dwight James Gore is preceded in death by his wife Donna Gore, father Fred Gore, & brother Fred Gore. Dwight is survived by his mother Virginia Dowdy; his children Carmen Lindner, Jeremy Gore, and Lance Gore; stepchildren April Lopez, Allen Sylvester, and Amy Todd; sister, Susan Wagner, and many grandchildren.

Dwight's life will be remembered on Wednesday, January 11, 2023, at 10 am in the chapel at Ingram, Smith & Turner Mortuary. Services are under the direction of Ingram, Smith and Turner Mortuary in Yukon, OK.
