Sweet Baby Duane Ray Woolery-Lancaster completed his battle with hepatoblastoma on October 2nd, 2020. Just turning 1 years old, his birthday was September 16, 2019. Duane was a strong little warrior and his family is thankful for all the love and support through these difficult weeks. His parents, Shania Woolery and James Lancaster, will also remember his smile, laugh, and cuddles.
Duane reunited with his sister Addison Woolery-Lancaster, grandparent Dale Lancaster, great great-grandparents Edyth and Ray Woolery, Roy and Ora Belle Cantrell, great-grandparents Rose & James Hixon, great grandparent Leon Lancaster, great grandparent Joyce Lancaster, great NaNa Delores Burkitt, great great grandparent Ruby Cooper ‘GG’, and Aunt Stephanie Lancaster.
Duane is survived by parents Shania Woolery and James Lancaster of OKC; grandparents Johnny and Crissy Woolery of OKC, and grandma Lynn Lancaster of El Reno; great-grandparent Carolyn Owens of Yukon, great grandpa Clifford Overturf, uncle Michael Chapman of Millington, TN and uncle Justin Lancaster of El Reno, and great grandpa Michael Woolery of Holden, MO, great grandpa Wayne Franks of Yukon; great-great-grandpa Jerry Cooper ‘PaPa’, step grandpa Wayne Burkitt of Washington, uncle Sam Overturf & wife aunt Abbey of Marshall, MO, uncle Zachary Overturf of Marshall, MO, and numerous extended family and friends, along with The Good Fight Church family.
Visitation for Duane will be held on Friday, October 9th from 10 AM - 8 PM at Ingram, Smith & Turner Mortuary in Yukon. His service will be held on Saturday, October 10th at 6 PM at Ingram, Smith & Turner Mortuary.
The family requests those that attend wear an emerald green shirt, the color of liver cancer awareness.
The family would like to thank Ingram, Smith & Turner Mortuary and the Sleeping Angels ministry for their service throughout this difficult time. In lieu of flowers, parents are asking for toys and stuffed animals for them to donate to the OU Children's Oncology Department following the service. Donations may also be made to the Sleeping Angels Ministry at Ingram, Smith & Turner for providing free funeral services to honor Duane's life. All donations can be made to Ingram, Smith & Turner Mortuary.
