Dorothy Christine Morgan, a loving wife, devoted mother, cherished grandmother, and beloved sister, peacefully departed her mortal journey on August 6, 2025.
Born on December 23, 1946, in Portland, Oregon, Dorothy Christine Jones was the daughter of Robert and Dorothy Jones. She was raised in Blackfoot, Idaho, alongside her sister, Suzy, and graduated from Blackfoot High School in 1964.
Christine went on to enjoy a successful career before meeting the love of her life, Larry Alan Morgan. The two were married on December 27, 1974, and later made their home in Oklahoma City, where they raised their three children: Jon, Lara, and Marci.
Christine was a friend to all who knew her. Her warmth, kindness, and joyful spirit left a lasting impression on everyone she met. She lived with a deep love for her family, and her greatest joy was found in caring for her children and husband. Her heart was full of love, and her faith in the Lord guided every step of her life. Through her strong and quiet faith, she served those around her with grace and compassion.
She is survived by her loving husband, Larry Morgan; their children, Jon (Melinda) Morgan, Lara Baker, and Marci (R.J) Goodman; her 10 beloved grandchildren; and her dear sister, Suzy. Her legacy of love, faith, and selfless devotion will continue to live on through her family and all those blessed to have known her.
A viewing will be held on Friday, August 15, 2025, from 4:00 to 8:00 PM at Ingram, Smith & Turner Mortuary, 201 E Main St, Yukon, OK 73099. Family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 PM.
A service to honor Christine’s life will be held on Saturday, August 16, 2025, at 1:00 PM at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, 5020 NW 63rd St, Oklahoma City, OK 73132. Christine will be laid to rest at the Memorial Park Cemetery (Oklahoma City, OK).
Christine will be remembered for her unwavering faith, unconditional love, and the beautiful example she set for all who knew her.
