Donald Glenn "Don" Potter, of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, passed away on November 16, 2025, at the age of 73.
Born on March 26, 1952, in Richmond, California, to Joyce and Donald Potter, Don joined his big sister, Debbie Jean. He was an active Boy Scout and graduated from De Anza High School in Richmond, California. In his later teenage years, Don played drums in a rock band.
In his younger years, Don married Nancy Smith, and from that union they welcomed Donald Glenn III. He later married Linda Burnett, and together they had Brian Robert and Jacqueline Jean. Don was a devoted and involved father who loved watching scary movies with his children, and spending time with them.
In 1985, Don met Felicita "Blanca" Anchante, and from the moment they met, they shared a connection they couldn't ignore. After finally asking her on a date, their love story truly began. They were married on October 7, 1989, celebrating their union with a beautiful church wedding.
As a grandpa, Don adored sharing stories from his children's younger years, always bringing laughter and warmth to family gatherings.
In his spare time, Don enjoyed painting and relaxing with his favorite war and western movies.
He is survived by his wife of 36 years, Blanca; son Donald Potter III and wife Cassandra; son Brian Potter; daughter Jacqueline Wilson and husband Joseph; granddaughter Shasta Potter; grandson Kane Potter; grandson George Wilson; and sister Debbie Watkins.
He is preceded in death by his parents
