Don Caricofe Obituary

It is with both heavy hearts and joyous memories that we announce the passing of Don Terry Caricofe, who embraced eternal life on March 12, 2025, at the age of 72. Born on November 8, 1952, in Baltimore, MD, Don leaves behind a legacy of love, laughter, and compassion that will resonate through the hearts of all who knew him.

A proud veteran of the Air Force, Don was a hardworking entrepreneur who dedicated his life to his business, Truck Doctor. He stood by the biblical principle that "it is more blessed to give than to receive" (Acts 20:35), living this philosophy in both his personal and professional life.

In 1998, Don met the love of his life, his soulmate Angie, in Oklahoma City. They married on February 15, 2002, and together they created 25 beautiful years of shared love, joy, and adventure.

Don was a devoted husband, father, and grandfather, serving as the steadfast rock of his family. His strength and unwavering support provided comfort and stability, while his infectious smile and quick wit brought lightness and joy to even the dullest moments. He was a provider, protector, and a source of inspiration to all fortunate enough to share in his life.

An adventurer at heart, Don had a passion for travel, airplanes, and scuba diving. He lived life to the fullest, encouraging others to pursue their dreams and live with integrity. His generous spirit was evident in everything he did; he moved mountains to see his family and friends happy, mentoring young men and shaping them into caring fathers.

Don is survived by his beloved wife Angie Caricofe and children Brian, James, Alysha, Amanda, and Clint. He also leaves behind beloved daughters-in-law Jasmine and Connie, son-in-law Michael, brothers Steven and Michael, sister Sheryl, and mother-in-law Patricia. His cherished grandchildren-Melissa, Austin, Westin, Era, Ronin, Ella, Colby, Diesel, Nova, Stella, Jude, Kristi, Ashley, Jerry, and his great grandchildren - will carry his memory forward, ensuring his spirit lives on through the generations.

Don was preceded in death by his father Lester Caricofe, mother Wilma Farmer, sons Robert John Caricofe and William Caricofe, daughter-in-law Ruth Mclenon, and grandson Wyatt Aldridge.

To honor Don's extraordinary life, a visitation will take place from 4:00 PM to 5:30 PM Thursday, March 20, 2025, at Ingram, Smith & Turner Mortuary. A Celebration of Life will be held in his honor 11:00 am Saturday, March 22, 2025, also at Ingram, Smith & Turner Mortuary, followed by interment at Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens.

While we mourn the loss of Don, let us also celebrate the incredible man he was -the laughter he shared, the love he spread, and the countless lives he touched. Although he has left this earthly plane, his spirit will remain alive in our hearts, and we look forward to reuniting with him one day.
