Delphine Helen Zajic passed away peacefully on January 12, 2026, in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma at the age of 100.
Delphine was born on June 26, 1925, in Lookeba, Oklahoma, to Emma and Martin Roscher. She grew up in Lookeba and Hinton, later moving to Yukon. In eighth grade, Delphine met and later married Albert Zajic, and they shared 58 years of marriage until Albert's passing in 2006. Together they raised three boys, Terry Albert, Ronald Joe, and Andrew Alan.
A woman of strong faith, Delphine lived her life guided by her beliefs and values. She and Albert were charter members of Messiah Lutheran Church, OKC.
Delphine worked as a bookkeeper for many years, a role that reflected her diligence, reliability, and attention to details.

Delphine worked as a bookkeeper for many years, a role that reflected her diligence, reliability, and attention to details. Delphine and Albert enjoyed hosting dinner parties, pinochle game nights and were members of several square dancing clubs. They enjoyed bowling in several church leagues as well as being docents at the OKC airport and the state capitol. They enjoyed traveling with friends, taking cruises, visiting various countries, and visiting sons living in Alaska and Washington. They were active in the Oklahoma Czech community where Delphine was the 2009 Grand Marshall in the Yukon Czech Festival Parade. She spent many summers baking kolache in preparation for the annual festival.
Delphine is preceded in death by her husband Albert, her parents, and sisters Hilda Graham, Wanda Florence, and Lenora Alberts.
Delphine is survived by her sons Terry and wife Debora, Ron and wife Carol, Andy and wife Gayln; grandchildren Alycia and husband Derek Tu, Bryan Zajic and wife Sarah, Lisa Campbell and partner Nancy Eberle, Jeremiah Zajic and wife Shannah, Missy and husband Jesse White, and Ashley Marsaglia; great grandchildren Clark, Violet, Leon, Thea, Briyana, Skyler, Paisley, Hailey, Taylor, Colton, Remington, Peyton, and Auston; a double cousin Delores Kofoed, numerous nephews and a niece, and extended family and friends.
A service to honor Delphine’s life will be held on Monday January, 19th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the Concordia Senior Living Chapel 7707 West Britton Road, Oklahoma City, OK. In lieu of flowers, a donation can be made in her honor to the Messiah Lutheran Church School.
