David Keith Hague passed away on September 22, 2025 in Yukon, Oklahoma at the age of 79
surrounded by his loving wife and children.
He was born to parents Harry and Mildred (Bow) Hague on July 14, 1946 in Oklahoma City,
Oklahoma. David was raised in Oklahoma City with his sister Cathy and brother Danny, and
graduated from Southeast High School in 1964.
When he was 15 years old, David was introduced to the love of his life, Barbara Parnell, by their
fathers who were Oklahoma City firemen. David and Barbara were engaged just prior to him
leaving for boot camp, and were married on February 10, 1967 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.
David and Barbara were an inseparable couple who loved being together. The two shared a
special bond in their relationship for 64 years. Their love of traveling took them on many
adventures including Italy, numerous cruises, and relaxing trips in their RV with their pet,
Brandy the Wonder Dog.
David and Barbara were blessed with two children, Robert Keith and Charyl Joanne. He was a
hands-on dad whose children were his world; however, being Grandpa to his grandchildren was
his greatest role.
He worked in automotive and cabinetry sales for nearly 50 years. With a work ethic that was
second to none, he was admired by his peers. He was best known for his love for his family,
likable personality, and being someone others can count on.
David is preceded in death by his parents Mildred and Harry Hague, sister Cathy Watson, and
son-in-law Bart Cooke.
David is survived by his wife of 58 1/2 years Barbara; son Robert Hague and wife Michele;
daughter Charyl Cooke and Eric Ewald; grandchildren Austin Cooke and wife Ashlin, Ashlyn
McKay and husband Austin, Parker Hague, Kayla Coleman, Brin Hague, and Andrew Hague;
great grandchildren Sage Cooke, Penelope McKay, Jameson McKay (on the way); brother
Danny Hague and wife Tess; brother-in-law Neal Watson; along with his extended family and
friends who loved him dearly.
