It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Christopher Shane Lack, a beloved son, brother, uncle, veteran and a friend to all. Who left us on November 22, 2024. Chris was born January 5, 1982 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. Chris grew up in Yukon, Oklahoma playing little league sports and was a member of the Yukon High School drama club, where he graduated class of 2000.
On September 11, 2001, after the terrorist attack, Chris left work to go join the Army National Guard to serve his country. He served in Lexington, Oklahoma and Afghanistan as an Aviation Operations Specialist. After returning home he worked various jobs in transportation and the customer service industry. Known for his hard work, dedication and friendly demeanor, Chris made a lasting impact on his colleagues and friends.
Chris was an avid animal lover fostering and rescuing multiple dogs. Chris left behind his two pets, Cami & Lucy, man's best friends.
His commitment to service continued beyond his career as he served in the military showing his bravery and honor. As we celebrate Chris's life we remember his warm smile, quick wit and generous spirit that touched the lives of many. Chris enjoyed hockey, movies and singing karaoke.
He is survived by his mother, Pam Goodall & step-father, Mike Goodall, Father C. David Lack, brother David & wife Wendy, sister Kali Coburn & husband Tayler. Nieces & nephew: Teagan, Vye & Josie Lack, Birdie & Sawyer Coburn. His Aunt Jana & cousins Jennifer, Jon, Jeremy & Justin who were more like siblings than cousins and many more Aunts, Uncles, Cousins & lifelong friends.
Chris is proceeded in death by Grandmother Shirley Carroll, Grandparents, Vye & Marva Lack, Grandparents Kenny & Betty Bowers, and Grandparents Jerry & Joyce Goodall.
Visitation will be held Tuesday, November 26, 2024 from 4:00 PM - 8:00 PM at Ingram, Smith & Turner Mortuary. A Memorial Service to honor Christopher's life will be held Friday, December 6th, 2024 at 2:00PM at Ingram, Smith & Turner Mortuary.
