Cheryl Jean (Scott) Speicher

Cheryl Jean “Shorty” Speicher went to her heavenly home on January 17, 2021, in Yukon, Oklahoma. She was born Cheryl Jean Scott on November 15, 1953, to Thomas Parker Scott and Betty Jo Galbreath-Scott in Sinton, Texas. She graduated from Hinton High School in 1973 in Hinton, Oklahoma. Cheryl was passionate about horses and books, and was in the process of writing her first novel. She enjoyed her time as a member of the Texoma Mounted Shooters. She loved her dogs, cats, kids, family, and friends very much: and in that order. Cheryl was a quality assurance specialist at Focus on Function in Oklahoma City for 14 years. Whether you called her Cheryl, Shorty, Cookie, Mom, or Gigi, she will be dearly missed.

Cheryl is preceded in death by her true love Tim Allen Speicher and her parents.
She is survived by her daughter Kyla Rae Harbison and wife Jessica, daughter Jennifer Speicher and her partner Jacob Gilbert, and son Nathan Speicher and wife Katie; grandkids Tatum, Brookelyn, Ali, Kaleb, and Kennedy; sister Alice Ryker and brother-in-law Roy Ryker; niece Amy Ryker-Calger and family Roger and Charlotte; and nephew Brandon Ryker and family Shawn Mikels and Hayley Ryker. She is also survived by her siblings, many great nieces and nephews, and the rest of her extended family in Iowa.
