Charles "Bill" William Dillard

Charles "Bill" Dillard of Long Beach, California passed from this life on Saturday, April 22, 2023 at the age of 64. He was born on Tuesday, December 9, 1958 in Long Beach, California to James William Dillard and Maxie Jean Hicks-Dillard. He was a long-time resident of Oklahoma City. Bill laid carpet for a living and was a Christian man of the Baptist faith. He enjoyed going to church, playing his guitar, as well as the drums, loved animals, and preaching the word of God. He was also an avid outdoorsman. 

Bill was preceded in death by his parents James William Dillard and Maxie Jean Hicks-Rogers, brother-in-law Jack Gockel, and one niece Denise "Mich" Potter who passed away just 3 days before him. Survivors include: his daughters Sandra Claus and husband Reuben of Twentynine Palms, California, and Carrie Dillard-Ehlenfeldt and husband Eddie of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma; sons John (Kira) Dillard of OKC or Blanchard, Oklahoma, Nathan Whitney of Kingston, Oklahoma, and William (Alexandria) Dillard of Bethany, Oklahoma; sisters Margie Cheramie and husband Curtis of Bennington, Oklahoma, and Patricia "Patty" Gockel of Bentley, Oklahoma; nephews Michael Holiday and Christopher Orozco; 13 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren; and a host of cousins and church friends.
