Charles Franklin Boone

Charles Franklin "Frank" Boone, went to be with his Lord and Savior on May 4, 2020, surrounded with love by his wife and daughters.

Frank was born on March 14, 1940, in Orient Hill, WV. On December 4, 1965, he married Andrea (Andee) L. Mossman in Clifton Forge, VA. They lived in the Ohio area from 1965 until they moved to Yukon/Mustang, OK in 1983 where they resided until his death.

Charles Boone was known to his family and friends as "Frank" or "Charley." He worked as a brick mason and also a flooring installer. Both a hard worker and a perfectionist, he was very seldom called to do a repair on his work. He was an all-around handy man; his girls would always say, "Daddy will fix it." Frank also loved to help others. There were many times throughout his life when he would fix a single mother's car or give them one if he had an extra one around. Frank had a great sense of humor; he could always make you smile! Most of all, he was a Child of God.

Frank was the proud father of 3 wonderful gifts from God: Melanie Ann Sershon and husband Jeffery, Diana Rachel Lewellen, and Rebecca Eileen Boone and fiancé Mario; grandsons: Charles Evard James Sershon, Mason Paul Lawrence Sershon, Andre Tyson, and Tristan Martin; granddaughters: Elena Leon, Miracle Tyson, Kadence Martin and Mari'a Hansard.

Frank is preceded in death by his parents Charley Coke and Effie Ann Grimmett Boone, 3 brothers, and 9 sisters. Frank leaves not only his immediate family to remember his life, but also his two sisters Ana Mae McClain of Massillon, OH, and Goldie Zickafoose of Newark, OH; sisters-in-law Cynthia Ann Mossman Burkitt and husband Bruce of Maui, HI, Nancy Hilyard Mossman of Mustang, OK, and Jennie Nutter Boone, WV; and a large number of nieces, nephews and friends.

A Memorial Gathering will be held at Ingram, Smith & Turner Mortuary, 201 E. Main Street in Yukon, OK on Tuesday, May 26th, 2020, from 4:00 - 7:00 PM.

The family is very grateful for all the prayers, cards, flowers, and all your kind words during this time of grief.
