Cathy Hall Obituary

Cathy Ann (Beeney) Hall of Yukon, Oklahoma, formerly of Groton, Connecticut, passed away on Friday, October 2, 2020, at her home in Yukon, Oklahoma at the age of 69 years old. Cathy was born on August 25, 1951, in New London, Connecticut to parents Donald and Norma Kilpatrick Beeney. She was married to Terry Hall on May 20, 1995, in Groton, and they spent 26 amazing years making memories and laughing together.

Cathy spent her younger years working at Canteen Food Service at Electric Boat where she created lasting friendships and eventually met her husband. Later in life, she found herself in Oklahoma and started a career at Farmer’s Insurance where she excelled at her job and formed even more lifelong friendships. Cathy never met a stranger. She loved talking to people and was willing to lend a helping hand to anyone who knew her. She always made time to visit with her friends and family and her sense of humor could make you laugh until you cried. You could always count on her for a smile and a hug.

The thing most important to Cathy, above all else, was her family. Early in her life, she spent her days making crafts, hosting parties, volunteering for Little League, and planning vacations for her children. She never missed her children’s sports games or practices and was at every school function. Once her first grandson was born, the real fun began. She and Terry enjoyed spending their days watching her grandsons play sports, having game nights with their family, and simply laughing. Cathy loved chocolate and anything sweet, but adored and loved her husband with everything she had.

Cathy is survived by her husband Terry; son, Johnny A Robeaux Jr, and wife Freedom of Mustang; daughter Heather Pierre and husband Roman of Oklahoma City; two brothers Donald Beeney, Jr. of Mystic and Kim Beeney of Groton; one sister Cindy Burdick of Norwich; and her grandchildren, Zane and Brendan Robeaux, and EK, Amina, and Arya Pierre. She was proceeded in death by her brother Kevin Beeney. Cathy also leaves behind many cousins, nieces, and nephews who will miss her immensely and will hold dear the memories they have with her.

A viewing will be held on Friday, October 9, 2020 from 4 pm to 8 pm at Ingram, Smith, and Turner Mortuary located at 201 Main Street in Yukon to allow her friends and family to pay their respects and say their final goodbyes.
