Bradley D. Noreen, 83, of Palmdale, CA via Hudson, WI, passed away peacefully at home on Wednesday, October 8, 2025.
He was born in November 1941, in Waukesha, WI. He was one of three sons of the late Clifford Noreen and Luella Noreen (Marinoff). Brad was a 1959 graduate of Hudson High School. Brad enjoyed reading, listening to music (Buddy Holly), playing poker and cribbage, doing word search and crossword puzzles, watching the Andy Griffith Show, playing softball, coaching little league baseball, and watching sports. He was a proud, lifelong fan of the Green Bay Packers, Brooklyn/LA Dodgers, and the Minnesota/LA Lakers.
He served on active duty in the U.S. Air Force for 26 years in civil engineering working in power production with diesel power generators and would provide power production assistance to the SR-71 Blackbird and various radar sites in Woomera, Australia; Aleutian Islands in Alaska; Tokyo, Japan; San Antonio, Texas; Okinawa, Japan; Montgomery, Alabama; and Edwards AFB, California. After he retired from the U.S. Air Force, he worked another 26 years for the Los Angeles County Probation Department as a probation officer and evening supervisor for juveniles.
He is survived by his wife of 60 years, Chieko Noreen of Tokyo, Japan; his son, Jason and his wife, Amy; grandchildren Eric, Brandon, and Sadie Noreen; brother Craig Noreen and his wife Susan. He is preceded in death by his children, Shelby and Kevin; parents, Clifford and Luella; and brother Clayton.
