Bonnie Bea (Drain) Smith

Bonnie Bea Smith passed away on March 28, 2023, in Bethany, OK at the age of 89. Bonnie was born to parents Robert and Exer Drain on March 17, 1934, in Guthrie, OK. . She met her spouse Roman Smith, and they were married for 58 years. Together they raised 2 children whom they loved very much. Throughout Bonnie's life, she was known for her big, beautiful garden. She found joy in tending to the flowers and plants. She also enjoyed sewing and cooking for her family. Bonnie was a gifted basketball player in her youth: she was even given an invitation to play for the semi pro team, the Red Heads. She worked as an Agricultural Stabilization and Conservation Service for 31 years, helping farmers get loans to subsidize their crops in Logan County. Throughout Bonnie's life she was proud women of God and loved teaching Bible school at her church. Bonnie will be missed by all who knew her and loved her dearly.

Bonnie Bea Smith was preceded in death by husband Roman Smith; parents Robert and Exer Drain; and sister Wanda Faye Davie. Bonnie is survived by her sons Stan Smith and Jeff Smith; grandsons Jordan Smith, Jake Smith, Justin Smith, Jerrod Smith; and an abundance of great-grandchildren.

Bonnie's life will be remembered with visitation on Friday, April 14, 2023, from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Ingram, Smith & Turner Mortuary in Yukon, OK. Her funeral service will be held on Saturday, April 15, 2023, at 10:00 AM at Ingram, Smith & Turner Mortuary with interment to follow at Paradise Cemetery in Coyle, OK.
