Bobby Penney Obituary

Bobby Dean Penney Sr. passed away on December 21, 2020, at the age of 68. Bobby was born to Earl Edward Penney and Faye Leona Shannon on June 16, 1952 in Austin, Texas.

He grew up in Austin, Texas and loved to play baseball. Bobby's passion in life was his family. He loved to spend time with his family and lived and breathed to take care of them. He was always involved in his children's sporting and school events. Bobby also loved to spoil all his grandchildren and great grandchildren. Bobby was a paint contractor most of his years, but later in life was retrained and was the first legally blind person to work from home for the Purple Heart.

Bobby is preceded in death by his father Earl Penney and mother Faye Shannon; sister Susan Reynolds; grandson Cayden Chartney; and favorite dog Duke Penney.

Bobby is survived by his wife Dora (Jeannie) Penney; sister Carolyn Briley; children Bobby Penney II and wife Ashley Nicole Penney of Yukon, Oklahoma, Ashley Chartney and husband Justin Chartney of Harrah, Oklahoma, Sean Penney and wife Amy Penney of Yukon, Oklahoma; Lessa Boedeker and Pete Strickland of Sylacauga, Alabama, Rene Campbell of Colorado and David Buchanan of Texas. He is also survived by grandchildren Alaina Penney, Kaden Penney, Taylor Penney, Bryce Oliphant, Tyler Penney, Javen Boedeker, Lauren Boedeker, Annah Boedeker, Brittany Strickland, Dakota Strickland, Beth Stage, Colt Cambell, Brittany Campbell, Kristian Campbell, Alexandria Chartney and Haylee Chartney; and great grandchildren Kinsley Kitchens, Kayson White, Payton Boedeker, Marlee Jeffferies and Kaylee Campbell.
