In Loving Memory of Bobbie Louise Bennett Hartsfield
Celebrating a Life Well Lived
With heavy hearts, we share the passing of our beloved Bobbie Louise Bennett Hartsfield, who peacefully went home to be with her Savior, Jesus, on November 1, 2025, at the age of 83. Bobbie was the matriarch and heart of our family - a loving mother, grandmother, and friend whose kindness, generosity, and steadfast faith touched all who knew her. Her love was a constant source of comfort and strength, and her gentle spirit will continue to guide us always.
Bobbie was born to Robert and Helen Bennett on September 4, 1942, in Stuart, Oklahoma. Bobbie lived a life rooted in faith, laughter, and compassion. She found joy in the simple things - sharing meals with family, tending her pool and plants, caring for her pets, and offering a listening ear to anyone in need. Her deep and abiding faith in Jesus was the cornerstone of her life, and she radiated His love to everyone around her. Though she is no longer with us in body, her spirit will forever live on in the countless lives she touched and the love she so freely gave.
During her working years, Bobbie primarily served in administrative roles, but her avocation and passion was reading. She delighted in the written word - whether exploring the classics, well-known novels, or hidden literary gems from around the world. Within the pages of her books, maps, and especially her Bible, Bobbie found adventure, wisdom, and peace - a reflection of her curious mind and enduring love of learning.
Above all, Bobbie's greatest joy was her family, whom she loved beyond measure. She leaves behind a lasting legacy of faith, strength, and unconditional love in her children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and all who were blessed to know her. While our hearts ache with her absence, we find comfort in knowing she is reunited with her beloved Ted and other loved ones who went before her, resting now in the eternal embrace of her Savior Jesus.
The family extends heartfelt thanks for the many expressions of love, prayers, and support shown during this time - a true reflection of the many lives Bobbie touched throughout her life.
