Billy Wayne Walker

Billy Wayne Walker, or as most called him "Billy Wayne," passed away on July 22, 2022, in Yukon, OK at the age of 85, in the comfort of his home. Bill was born to parents Malcolm and Vera Walker on December 11, 1936, in Buckholtz, TX. He grew up in Texas and had a great love for nature and history. Bill also loved watching crime shows, such as the "First 48" and spending time with his cat "Josie". He met his wife Claudia Walker at Southwestern Bell where he worked as an accountant until his retirement. Bill and Claudia were married for 41 years. Bill will be missed by all who knew him and loved him dearly.

Bill is preceded in death by his parents, Malcolm Walker and Vera Walker; brothers Malcolm Walker Jr, and Doyle Walker; and sisters-in-law Linda Flynt, and Norma Lindsey.

Bill leaves behind to cherish his memories: his wife Claudia Walker; son, David Walker and Barbara Barylska, daughter Robin Martinet, and step-son Mark Johnson; granddaughter Morgane Martinet; great-grandson Samuel Williams; brother Larry Walker, and sister-in-law Kathy Mckee.

A visitation of family and friends will be held Monday July 25, 2022 from 4:00pm-8:00pm at Ingram, Smith & Turner Mortuary in Yukon. Graveside services to honor Billy Wayne's life will be on Tuesday July 26, 2022 at 8:00am at the Kansas Cemetery in Piedmont, OK.
