Beverly Jean (Legg) Sanders

Beverly Jean Sanders, age 68, passed away July 27, 2021. She was a wife, sister, mother, aunt, grandmother, and precious friend to many. Born November 19, 1952, to Robert and Neva Legg, Beverly grew up in Midwest City where she met the love of her life Steve Sanders in 1993. They married in their favorite place on earth, New Orleans, on September 18, 1996. They spent 28 wonderful years together where they enjoyed traveling, spending time at the lake house, hummingbird watching, and camping. Together Steve and Bev raised 4 children whom they loved very much. Family made her tick, and she loved spending time with everyone together, whether it was over the holidays or at the lake house. She especially loved spoiling her 10 grandchildren. Beverly's passion was hummingbirds, traveling, gardening, going to concerts, and spending time in nature.

Beverly worked as an Accounting Analyst at Marathon Oil Company until her retirement in 2001. Throughout Beverly's life, she was known for her beautiful smile, her astounding taste in music, her love for travel, all things nature, and her never-ending supply of tomatoes in the gardening months. Her priority in life was her family and she poured love into each member. Beverly will be missed by all who knew her and loved her dearly.

Beverly Jean Sanders is preceded in death by her daughter Angie Blott, parents Bob & Neva Legg, mother-in-law Mary, step-mother Margie, half-sister Cheryl Ann, brother David, and brother-in-law Joe.

Beverly is survived by her husband Steve Sanders; children Kevin, Staci, Tyler, and Robin; grandchildren Tristan, Joey, Emili, Jourden, Jalyn, Jordan, Makai, Reid, Ryder, and Rexton; siblings Jeanie, Connie, and Bobby; brother-in-law Scot & Debra; sister-in-law Susan & Lynn; special sisters Christi and Terri; adopted family Imogene; adopted sisters Danessa and Adona; and numerous nieces and nephews, friends, and countless in-laws and out-laws of those that loved her.

A Celebration of Life service for Beverly will be held on Monday, August 2nd, 2021, at 2:00 PM at Ingram, Smith & Turner Mortuary. Services are under the direction of Ingram, Smith & Turner Mortuary in Yukon, OK.
