Betty "Kay" Cox (Montgomery), 78, of Tulsa, Oklahoma, passed away peacefully on March 22, 2025, at Ascension St. John’s Hospital in Tulsa. She was born on July 29, 1946, in Conway, Arkansas to Fred and Imogene Montgomery, and spent much of her early life in Kingston and Plainview, Arkansas. Kay was a cherished wife, sister, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother whose kindness, humor, and generosity left a lasting impression on everyone she met. She devoted much of her life to raising her family, building a career with a major insurance company, and serving with pride on the staff at Chambers Memorial Hospital in Danville, Arkansas. A passionate sports enthusiast, Kay was an avid supporter of the Razorbacks and Bears, and her family is certain she’ll be cheering them on from Heaven.
Kay is survived by her children, Robert Casper and Cathie Kinnaman; her grandchildren, Douglas and Gracie Kinnaman, Blane Gillum and Nicole Gillum Ogles; Clayton Casper, Kendall Casper Hill and Cameron Casper; her great-grandchildren, Grant and Lily Hill; and her brothers, John and Jeff Montgomery. She was preceded in death by her beloved husbands and combat veterans, Ronald Casper and Thomas Cox.
