Bentley Smith Obituary

Bentley Noah Smith was called home to be with the Lord on Sunday, January 11, 2026, at the young age of 9 years old. Born on December 30, 2016, in Oklahoma City, he was the oldest child of Bradley & Mychaela (McCraw) Smith, leaving behind a family forever changed by his beautiful life and tender spirit. Though his time on earth was far too short, Bentley fulfilled a powerful purpose simply by being who he was.

Bentley was pure joy. He had a sweet, gentle soul, a bright smile that could light up any room, and a heart full of love. He loved to laugh, play, and be surrounded by the people he cared about most. Bentley had a special way of bringing comfort and happiness to others, often without even trying. His presence alone was a blessing. Bentley reminded everyone around him of God's goodness-of innocence, love, and faith without question. He taught those who loved him how to slow down, how to cherish each moment, and how to love deeply. Though his earthly journey has ended, Bentley's spirit lives on in every memory, every laugh, and every quiet moment when his family feels his love surrounding them.

Bentley is survived by his loving parents, Bradley & Mychaela Smith; sister, Copelynn Isla Smith; furry family, Diesel, Lulu, and Maggie May; grandparents, Russ & Jennifer McCraw and Randy & Betty Smith; aunts & uncles, Justin & Priscilla Smith, Dustin Smith & Tiffany Nolan, Ashley & Josh Blalack, Adam & Shanna BigKnife, Zachariah & Kaylee Phillips, Cade & Israel Christensen, Joshua McCraw, Jonathan McCraw, and Isaiah McCraw; and cousins Christiana, Caleb, Joshua, Justin Jr., Esperanza, Bowen, Stagger, Addisyn, Kendah, Jace, Elijah, Swayde, Briggs, expecting Baby Phillips, Sailor, Ember, Cedar, & Creek; as well as a host of extended family and many friends who were blessed to know him. Honorary Pallbearers are Braden Bachus, Logan Burgamy, Dustin Smith, Justin Smith, Jonathan McCraw, Isaiah McCraw. Bentley is preceded in death by his great-grandpa Marland McCraw. He is now resting in perfect peace, wrapped in God's arms, watching over those who loved him so dearly.
