Barbara Ann (Fruge) Farrill

Barbara Ann Farrill entered Heaven's Gates surrounded by her family on May 24, 2023, in Okmulgee, OK at the age of 83. Barbara was born to parents Cleveland and Mary Lou (Le Juene) Fruge on August 29, 1939, in Ville Platte, LA. She married the love of her life, Phillip "Phil" Wayne Farrill, on August 20, 1971 and they remained devoted to each other for 50 years until his death in 2022. Barbara and Phil faithfully served the Lord together, caring for those who were downtrodden, lonely, and hopeless. Joining Crosstown Church of Okmulgee in 1985, they continued to serve through a successful Prison Ministry called "He's Alive" with friends Jack and Lois Kolakowski, and a weekly prayer meeting for their community in their own home.

Barbara adored their blended family, and poured her time, energy, encouragement, and prayers into loving their children, 19 grandchildren, 33 great-grandchildren, and 9 great-great grandchildren. She will always be remembered for the spiritual legacy she leaves behind to all she loved and had the wonderful opportunity to serve.

Barbara Ann Farrill is preceded in death by her beloved husband Phil Farrill, son Michael Farrill, parents Cleveland and Mary Fruge; siblings Rose Duplechain, Nell Vidrine, and James Fruge. 

Those who await to reunite with her again include her children: Gail and husband Mark Baldridge, Mary Kay Farrill, Phillip and wife Kendra Farrill, Joe and wife Mary Ducote, and Steven and wife Sheila Farrill; grandchildren and spouses Christopher, Kyndel and Kyle, Katie and Joey, Amanda and Scott, Angel, Jamie Jo, Shane and Stacie, Jacob and Shannon, Heather and Chance, Michaela and Sheldon, Micah and Brittany, Micailah and Dylan, Stephanie Nicole and Tony, Stefanie Ann and Chad, Rebecca, Chelsea and Aaron, Joey Chancey, Josh, and Terry and Misty; great-grandchildren Harper, Eric, Andrew, Aidan and wife Whitney, Jacoby, Dustin, Emma, Brenton, Isabella, Victoria and husband Trevor, Maria and husband Lyle, Emerson, Ashlyn, Matthew, Stevie, Christian, Jackson, Jeremiah, Jayden, Sammi, Keily, Cash, Caine, Cole, Creed, Israel, Uriah, Moses, Landon, Lana, Dason, Matt, and Kayden; great-great-grandchildren Adalynn, Diesel, TJ, Dixie, Baelin, Matthis, Charlie, Serenity, Taos Rheann, as well as two new babies on the way; sister Dixie Jane Fontenot of Vidrine, LA, along with many other extended family and friends.

Barbara's life will be remembered with a visitation on Friday, June 2, 2023, from 4-7 PM at First Assembly of God Church in Okmulgee, OK. Her service will be held on Saturday, June 3, 2023, at 10 AM at First Assembly of God with burial to follow at the Okmulgee Cemetery. Services are under the direction of Ingram, Smith and Turner Mortuary in Yukon, OK.
