Barbara Faye (McMartin) Dorrough

Barbara Faye Dorrough, age 86, of Yukon passed away on Monday, August 3rd, 2020. She was born on November 7th, 1933, in De Kalb Junction, NY to parents Clinton and Ruby McMartin. Barbara moved from Lawton to Yukon in 1977, where she has resided since. She married Charles J. Dorrough and traveled the world as a military wife, then worked for the State of Oklahoma for over 10 years. Barbara was also a devoted member of the Town & Country Christian Church of Yukon.

Barbara was preceded in death by her husband Charles J. Dorrough, and parents Clinton and Ruby McMartin. Barbara is survived by her daughters Debbie Welch of Del City, Pam Hoestenbach (Roger) of Harker Heights, TX, and Sandy Bray (Jerry) of Midwest City; five grandchildren; and thirteen great-grandchildren.

Barbara is finally at peace, her illnesses washed from her body. She is now living the life in Heaven that she deserved on earth in perfect mind and spirit. “Peace I leave with you: my peace I give you. I do not give to you as the world gives. Do not let your hearts be troubled and do not be afraid” John 14:27

Barbara's life will be honored on Friday, August 7th, 2020 at 2:00 PM located at Ingram, Smith & Turner Mortuary in Yukon, OK.
