Babykutty Pappachen Varghese

Babykutty Pappachan was born in East Kallada, Kerela, India on November 29th, 1939. She was the third of four children born to the late Koruthu Oonnoonny and the late Aleyamma Koruthu. She grew up in East Kallada along with her siblings and upon her marriage to Pappachan Varghese, she moved and lived in Karickom, Kottarakara, Kerala, India. Babykutty married the late Pappachan Varghese in 1959 and was married for 55 years before he passed on February 13th, 2014. Babykutty had five children with Pappachan, the late Jose, Jolly, Beena, Koruth and Mini.

She was a loving mother and homemaker and raised her children and grandchildren while supporting her husband. Since 1986, she has been to the United States on three separate occassions. In 2019, Babykutty and her daughter, Jolly, immigrated to the United States to live with her daughter, son-in-law, and children, and has lived with them since.

Although Ammamma went through many trials and tribulations, it did not weaken her faith in God. She loved the Lord with her whole heart. She would spend time reading the Word of God and in prayer as well as joining fellow believers in fellowship. Ammamma was a confident and fierce woman and she would always share a smile with anyone who walked by and you could feel her warmth.

On July 5th, 2021, Babykutty Pappachan passed away peacefully in her sleep in the presence of her family. She was a faithful servant of God, a loving wife, devoted mother, caring grandmother, sister, aunt, and the nicest and sweetest human to anyone she met. She has been reunited with her Lord and Savior and we rejoice that she is now in her heavenly home.

Babykutty Pappachan is survived by her children Jolly, Beena, Koruth and Mini along with their spouses, children, and grandchildren. She is also survived by her siblings Kunju Kutty and Lilly along with their spouses, children, and grandchildren.
