Arthur Max Hudson passed from this life into the loving arms of his Savior on April 1st, 2020. He was born to Arthur and Verna Hudson on July 22nd, 1934.
"Art," as he was called by most, was a native Oklahoman. He attended OU for 2 years before he was called to serve in the US Army. Art enjoyed playing softball for several years: he played on the Nelson Paint company team as pitcher, and they won nationals in 1974. Besides softball, his second favorite sport was golf. Most of Art's working years were in the oil industry, and also in the trucking industry for a few years.
Art was a member of the Southern Hills Church of God. He will be missed by those who knew and loved him dearly.
He is survived by his loving wife of 33 years, Jeani Hudson; daughter Jo Lynn Benz and son-in-law Baron Benz of Tulsa, Oklahoma; daughter Diane Swenson and son-in-law Ken Swenson of Edmond, Oklahoma; daughter Kelli Raynor of Yukon, Oklahoma; grandsons Zac, Austin and Dustin Bowden; granddaughters Felicia Swenson and Cheyenne Raynor; great-grandson Jayden Bowden; and two sisters Ruth Ann Creel and husband Jerry Creel of Checotah, Oklahoma, and Mary Jo Brown of Roff, Oklahoma.
A private family service will be held in his memory.
