April Janell (Hoehner) Taylor

April Janell Taylor, a beloved member of the Yukon community, wife, mother, and cherished daughter, passed away peacefully on October 6, 2023, at her residence in Yukon, Oklahoma. April was born on May 19, 1982, in Korea (Republic of), to her proud parents Donald and Janet Hoehner.

A woman of immense compassion and a heart full of love, April dedicated her life to serving her community. Her commitment and dedication were evident in her role as Assistant Director at the Dale Robertson Center in the City of Yukon. Her tireless efforts touched the lives of countless individuals, leaving a lasting impact on the community she called home.

Her passion for life extended beyond her professional endeavors. She found solace and joy in the great outdoors, immersing herself in the beauty of nature. Whether it was fishing with her family or exploring new destinations, April always appreciated the wonders that surrounded her. However, the light of her life was her beloved daughter, Makayla, whose presence brought immeasurable happiness, joy, and love to her every day.

April's memory will forever be cherished by her loving husband, Nathan Taylor, who provided unwavering support and companionship throughout their journey together. Her passing leaves a void in the hearts of her parents, Donald and Janet Hoehner, who nurtured her and saw her grow into the remarkable woman she became.

April is survived by her husband, Nathan Taylor, daughter Makayla Taylor, Parents Donald and Janet Hoehner, brothers Aaron Hoehner and Troy Hoehner and wife Shelly.

To honor and celebrate the life of April Janell Taylor, a Funeral Service will be held on October 14, 2023, at 2:00 pm in the Dale Robertson Community Center. Prior to the service, a Public Viewing will be held at Ingram, Smith & Turner Mortuary on October 13, 2023, from 4-8PM to give friends and loved ones the opportunity to pay their respects.

April will be laid to rest at the serene Frisco Cemetery. Her final resting place will serve as a peaceful reminder of the love and legacy she leaves behind. In this time of loss, let us come together as a community to support one another and honor the remarkable life of April Janell Taylor.
