Anita Lynn Jackson, 66, of Moore, OK passed away at her home on August 29, 2022. Anita was a strong woman, fighting until the very end. Anita loved and she was loved dearly: she loved her family and friends.
Anita was born on December 27, 1955, in Wichita, KS to Bonnie (Corbin) Hitchcock. After growing up in Wichita, KS, Anita moved to California. While in California, she gave birth to her first son, Scott Kanatsky, from her first marriage. Anita later moved on to Oklahoma, where she married her second husband. From this union came two sons, Nicholas and Marcus Balan. While Anita was exceptionally proud of all of her sons, she always yearned for a daughter. The Lord in turn blessed her with two beautiful daughters-in-law, Sabrina and Amy. In 2005, Anita married the love of her life, Stanley Jackson. From this union she was blessed with another daughter, Tracie Jackson, and a son, Travis Jackson.
Anita enjoyed crafting, quilting, shopping, making trips to the casino with Bonnie (her partner-in-crime), and playing Canasta with her friends Mike and Rose. Most importantly, she enjoyed spending time with her loved ones. Anita's grandchildren were the delight of her life. She had two little dogs that also took up a lot of her attention - Gracie and Maggie. Aside from her family, she spent most of her spare time with her lifelong friend, Rose.
Anita is survived by her husband, Stanley; sons, Scott Kanatsky and wife, Amy, Nicholas Balan and wife, Sabrina, Marcus Balan, and Travis Jackson; daughter, Tracie Jackson; grandchildren, Kaitlyn and Andrew Kanatsky, Taylor and Zane Balan, Tanner, Jacob, Lily and Kinley Balan, Kohl Jackson, Shanesta Edmiston; seven great-grandchildren; mother, Bonnie Hitchcock; brother, Ricky Ford; and numerous nephews, nieces, and other family members and friends.
