Aleykutty Varghese

Aleykutty Varghese, 71 years old, affectionately known as Lillykutty was born on May 18th, 1949 to late Mr. Yohannan and Rachel Oommen of Charuvilla House Chathannoor Kerala India. She went to be with the Lord on April 10th 2021 at 5:00 am.

Lillykutty, after finishing her high school moved to North India to do Nursing studies. Immediately after finishing her Nursing education she worked as a Registered Nurse at Safdarjung Hospital in New Delhi for a brief time. After receiving her permanent resident visa to United States, she moved to US and lived with her cousin sister Annamma and family in New York.

Lillykutty married to John Varghese in June 1975, and moved to Oklahoma City. She lived here till her departure to the heavenly abode. For over 45 years of family life with Pastor John Varghese, she was instrumental to the pastoral ministries along with him especially with IPC Hebron of Oklahoma. She was faithful in remembering all the members in her daily prayers and was dearly loved by the church family.

The LORD blessed them with a daughter Febi, who married to Johnson Mathew (Bobby) of Poovakala House, Anjilithanam, Kerala. Lilly was very affectionate to all three grandchildren Joanna, Ruth and Christopher.

She was very particular in prayer, giving tithe and faithful in every aspect of life. After passing away of her mother at the age of 10, she and her siblings went through hardships of life, but God blessed all of them with a better end.

Her departure to the Beulah land to be with her Savior Jesus Christ was very peaceful.

She is survived by her husband Pastor John Varghese, daughter Febi and her husband Johnson Mathew, grandchildren Joanna, Ruth and Christopher. She is also survived by her siblings Chinnakutty, Mariyakutty, Leelama, Molly, Susie, Gracy and her brother Sam. Her siblings brother Kunjmon and sister Saramma preceded her in death.

We all miss her but have the blessed hope that we can see her in the glory land of heaven.
