Aleyamma Varughese Obituary

Aleyamma Varughese (Ammini) was born on June 18, 1945 to the late Mr. Ninan T. David
and Mrs. Annamma David at Kodamala House Kariamplave, Kerala, India. She was the fourth of eight children. She spent most of her youth surrounded by siblings, friends, and church members, creating cherished memories such as playing hide-and-seek and throw ball, competing in shot-put, and helping her father with agriculture and mother with housework.
On June 17, 1971, she married the late Varughese Puthenparambil Abraham (Joy). She
stood by her husband as a prayer warrior and contributed to his business by serving workers and customers through various roles and responsibilities. They had three children Aby, Siby and Juby who they raised in a loving home in Puthenparambil House, Vechoochira. Through the inspiration of her mother-in-laws belief and guidance from the Holy Spirit, on March 13th, 1981, Aleyamma took the believers baptism and proclaimed her faith. Her boldness in the Holy Spirit, led her family and future generations into the pentecostal faith. She attended Ebenezer IPC Vechoochira until she immigrated with her family to the US in 1993 and they resided in New York where she attended India Pentecostal Church of God in Nyack, New York.
In 1996, they moved to Oklahoma and actively attended Zion Pentecostal Church and then Hebron Oklahoma. Aleyamma truly lived a life displaying the love of Christ in her daily life and actions. She prayed for and gave freely to various missions to enhance the kingdom of God. She was a devoted woman of prayer as seen through her early mornings with the Lord and late nights on prayer line. She lived each day eager to learn from the Word, share the joy of the Lord, and loved to listen and sing old Malayalam hymns. She was a loving sister, wife, mother, and grandmother. With peace from the Lord, she lived her final days surrounded by her children, grandchildren, extended families, and church families.
Aleyamma was promoted to glory on October 9, 2023, at the age of 78, reuniting with her late husband, Varughese Abraham, who had passed away in 2004, as well as her sister Mariamma Chacko, brother Thomas Ninan, and brother-in-laws Samuel K Mathew and P.A. Yohannan. She is survived by her three children and their family: her son Abraham Varghese and wife Binzy; her son Thomas Varghese, wife Ditty and children Shawn, Shanna and Shanley; her daughter Rachel Simon, husband Abraham, and children Reuben and Ruth. Her surviving siblings are sister Rachel Mathew and husband George Mathew; sister Annamma Samuel; sister Sosamma Yohannan; sister in law Ammini Thomas; sister Saramma Mathew and husband Mathew V Thomas; sister Susamma Rajan and husband Rajan Thomas and many nephews, nieces and
