Aldo David Poage

David Poage was born May 12, 1960, in the country of Somalia, in the Horn of Africa and stepped into heaven May 13, 2022, one day after his 62nd birthday. When David was seven years old, his father moved the family moved back to the United States for work. As a young man, David enjoyed playing football and baseball. When he was 10 years old, a severe ear infection took most of his hearing, but David chose to live beyond his challenges and lived a life of generosity making a difference in the lives of others. He made solitude his strength.

He worked at Tinker Air Force Base as a Engineering Data Specialist. He collected coins and stamps and made sure his mother's plants were watered regularly. He was an adventurous foodie willing to try just about any type of food, although seafood was his favorite. He cherished the music he could hear, perhaps that's why he loved the volume of classic rock from the 70's and 80's. He also loved animals, OU football, and sci-fi movies.

David is preceded in death by his parents, Robert Poage, and Liliana Anselmi. He is survived by his brother Lenny and his wife Tracie, as well as his niece and nephews Sydney, Cody, and Bryce, whom he adored.

A graveside service will be held Thursday May 19, 2022 at 10:00 AM at the Frisco Cemetery 14200 W Britton Rd, Yukon, OK 73099. David and his family are cared for by Ingram, Smith, and Turner Mortuary, 201 E Main St. Yukon, OK 73099.
