Alberta LaManda McMahon passed away on January 31, 2026, in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma at the age of 88.
Alberta LaManda (Littlejohn) McMahon was born March 31, 1937, the only child of William A. and Gertrude Maxine (Sievert) Littlejohn in Wichita, Kansas where she lived and attended school. She was a member of the graduating Class of 1955 at Wichita High School West.
Like most young ladies of her era, Alberta married at a young age and spent the first part of her adult life raising three wonderful children: Bill, Greg and Teresa. As her children grew older, Alberta began working as an administrative assistant at Wausau Insurance and CMI. She continued to work for 25 years before retiring.
Alberta will be remembered as a devoted Mom, Grandma, and GiGi who loved reading and playing games with her grandchildren. She enjoyed sewing, knitting, crocheting, being crafty and making gifts for family and friends. When her daughter, Teresa, was a child she often sewed clothes for her by hand.
Alberta was a long-time member of Generations at Putnam City United Methodist Church where she was active in the Knitwits Club and a frequent volunteer in the Daily Bread Food Pantry.
Alberta is survived by her children, Teresa Feisal and husband David; Bill McMahon and partner Marti; Greg McMahon and wife Andi as well as many grandchildren and great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents William and Gertrude Littlejohn and her granddaughter, Erica.
To honor Alberta's life, a service will be held on March 31st, 2026, at 10:00 AM at Putnum City United Methodist Church. Burial to follow at Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. Funeral arrangements are entrusted to Ingram, Smith & Turner Mortuary. The family requests that you wear a shade of blue to honor Alberta at her service.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the Daily Bread Food Pantry at Putnam City United Methodist Church located at 5819 NW 41st Street, Oklahoma City, OK 73122. The family would also like to acknowledge the loving care provided by Teresa and David Feisal, who graciously welcomed Alberta into their home and cared for her during the final months of her life.
