Adalynn Hall-Mendenhall Obituary

With hearts full of love and gratitude for her unforgettable presence, we celebrate the life of Adalynn Marie Hall-Mendenhall, who passed away on June 2, 2025, in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, at the age of 8.

Born on January 11, 2017, to Chadwick Mendenhall and Meagan Hall, Addie made her entrance into the world at just 25 weeks, a tiny warrior from the very start. She spent 137 days in the NICU, defying the odds and showing everyone the strength packed into her small frame. From that day forward, Addie lived every moment with unmatched determination, courage and spirit.

Addie was a firecracker-spirited, sassy, and full of opinions. She didn't need words to express herself; a single look could tell you exactly how she felt. She had a special sparkle and a presence that filled any room she entered. Fierce yet sweet, Addie taught those around her what it means to be brave.

One of her greatest joys was her beloved dog, Bentley. He wasn't just a pet-he was her protector, her shadow, and her best friend. Their bond was a beautiful testament to unconditional love.

Addie proudly took part in March of Dimes events, championing the cause that was so close to her story. Her motto, "Fight Like a Princess," captured her essence perfectly-graceful yet strong, delicate yet fierce.

Addie loved mermaids, unicorns and most of all, being a princess herself, Disney princesses (although she did hold a special place in her heart for the villains too!). Her signature color was pink, she was always dressed to the nines and she NEVER went anywhere without one of her hundreds of big bows.

Sassy to her core, this sweet, beautiful, brave baby girl touched so many people and brought a smile to everyone's face that she met. Addie went through and overcame more in her short 8 years than most people go through in a lifetime. She was loved beyond measure and will remain in everyone's hearts forever.

Addie is survived by her mom Meagan Hall; her dad Chadwick Mendenhall, her grandfather David Hall; her grandmother Linda French; half-brother Caysen Mendenhall; half-sister Evelyn Mendenhall; her aunt Lindsay Dirk and husband DJ; her uncle Chris Mendenhall and fiancé Sheri; her uncle Stan Mendenhall and wife?; her aunt Lauren Knapp and husband Travis; many cousins; and friends who become family.

Addie is preceded in death by grandmother Sandy Hall and her grandfather Brent French.

Addie's parents would like to thank all of the doctors, nurses and RT's who have been there for her and made an impact in her life.

Addie's Favorite Bible Verse: Phil 4:13

I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.
