Mary Lukose Obituary

Ammachi was born on Jan 3rd 1929, to late Kuriakose and Annama Vellumkulum. She spent her childhood in a small village called Kidangoor. At the age of 17 she was married to Late Lukose Kulathunkal. She was blessed with 7 children - 4 boys & 3 girls. Our ammachi was a very hard working, loving,and God-fearing woman. She enjoyed taking walks, watching movies, cooking for her family, and attending various church activities. Our Appachan was called to his eternal rest when ammachi was 58. Ammachi did not let her struggles define her; she continued to work hard to raise her kids and to take care of her family. She was one of the kindest people you could ever meet. She had a big heart and al-
ways had a smile on her face. Our dear ammachi came to the United States in 1997. Ammachi was strong in her faith and always made it a point to attend church.She always had a rosary in her hand and was constantly praying for her kids, family, and friends. She had an infectious smile and it would brighten the mood of the people around her. She lived a full, blessed life and never complained about her health problems. At the age of 91, God took our dear Ammachi back to her heavenly home.

Ammachis survived by her sons, late Joseph, Sunny, Rajan, Babu, and daughters Molly, Babykutty, and Lissy. Ammachi has 19 grandkids and 23 great grandkids. Ammachis siblings are Chinnamma Joseph and the late Chachiamma Kuriakose, late Babychen Kuriakose and the late Joy Kuriakose.

Paul states in Philippians “I know what it is to be in need, and I know what it is to have plenty. I have learned the secret of being content in any and every situation, whether well fed or hungry, whether living in plenty or in want. I can do all things through Him who gives me strength”.

Ammachi was the epitome of living in this manner and it was evidenced by her gentle grace at all times. We will always remember ammachiand all the lessons that she taught us during her lifetime. We will greatly miss our dear Ammachi and will always remember her sweet smile. We love you Ammachi!!
