John Allen Jones

John Allen Jones Jr. passed away on November 12, 2019 at the age of 70. John was born to parents John Allen Jones Sr. and Floetta Mitchell on July 17, 1949 in Oklahoma City. He grew up in Okarche, Oklahoma and loved to watch classic television and spend time with his best friend "Wyatt". He met his wife Susie Jones, and they were married on January 15, 1982. Together they raised three children whom he loved very much and were the light of his life. Throughout John's life, he was known for his quick wit and humor, gregarious personality and kindness. He worked as a Landman for many years until his retirement. John will be missed by all who knew him and loved him dearly. John Allen Jones Jr. is preceded in death by his father, John Allen Jones Sr, and his mother, Floetta Mitchell. John is survived by his wife Susie Jones, of Yukon, Oklahoma, daughter Chelsea Embery and son-in-law Dusty Embery and precious grand daughter Isabel Embery of Norman, Oklahoma, sons Jacob Jones of Yukon, Oklahoma and Jordan Jones of New York, New York, sister, Sherry Hardage and brother-in-law Bob Hardage of Houston Texas, and many nieces and nephews whom he loved. John will be missed by everyone who knew him. "Not good bye my love, just so long". A celebration of John's life will take place at a later date. Services are under the direction of Ingram, Smith & Turner Mortuary in Yukon, OK.
