Alternative Options

With these unprecedented times of social distancing and pandemic quarantine requirements, the Ingram, Smith & Turner staff understand that grief can't be deferred.  To continue to serve our families with excellence and care, we are now offering alternative options to best meet these unique needs and yet comply with federal regulations.  These options may change at any moment with new updates from any local, state, or federal CDC, WHO, or NFDA regulations.

Virtual Options

Regulations such as social distancing decrease the important opportunity of gathering together to share grief, memories, and sympathy.  We believe that physical gathering restrictions do not have to inhibit the scheduling of a service.  In this instance, we offer an option for the immediate family to gather for a private viewing or graveside, as they wish under regulations, with the opportunity to share the viewing and tribute service online.  Cultural and religious funeral rites and traditions will continue to be supported within legal means.  Honoring a life should not be restricted by regulation, and we will work within guidelines to meet your needs.

Please visit our Tribute Videography page for details about our professional videography.

Future Scheduled Tributes

Family and friends may want to consider delaying the scheduling of a service or burial of their loved one during these times of strict regulations.  Oftentimes, family members live in multiple locations and desire to travel at a time that is convenient with everyone. Due to the fluidity of our country's regulations and an increased risk for exposure, traveling outside of the state or country may not be recommended at this time.

To ensure a gathering of all your friends and family, your loved one can remain in our care until a tribute is scheduled at a later date.  There will not be an extra holding fee charged to the family when this option is selected.

Payment Arrangements

The economy is also experiencing a major shift, and we understand that many of our families are facing job uncertainties and financial instability.  In order to continue to honor your loved one's life and yet respect the current economical challenges, we offer complete customizable payment plans that are unique to your needs.  Ingram, Smith & Turner is confident that our prices are already reasonable regarding the excellent care you will receive throughout your grief journey, and we want to continue to offer a meaningful experience no matter the current circumstances.  Please contact our staff for more information on what we can offer.

Grief Support

Grief support may be even more important now than it was before.  Social Distancing regulations and quarantine requirements are forcing people apart, increasing loneliness, depression and anxiety.  When someone is on their Grief Journey, the lack of support will make it incredibly more difficult.  Ingram, Smith & Turner has created a new online support group that anyone going through loss is invited to join.  You may share your story, respond to others, read encouragement, and invite others going through a difficult time.
